Die Koeksisters – Kom Speel Met Ons | Classic Matte Poster with Wooden Hanger

Kom speel met ons…

Sweet, sticky and just a little bit sinister!

Meet Die Koeksisters, two syrup-soaked sisters with a rather creepy invitation…

Inspired by classic horror films and one of South Africa’s most-loved sweet treats, this Fantastees original puts a deliciously twisted spin on a familiar childhood favourite.

Dressed in matching blue dresses, holding hands and looking suspiciously innocent, these two aren’t your average koeksisters!

With the warning “Te veel soet kan gevaarlik wees…” (Too much sweetness can be dangerous), this playful design combines South African nostalgia, Afrikaans humour and a cheeky nod to one of cinema’s most iconic horror scenes.

Styled like a vintage horror movie poster, Die Koeksisters brings together old-school cinema nostalgia and the kind of dark humour that makes Fantastees a little different.

Because let’s face it, we’ve all been warned about eating too many koeksisters. Nobody mentioned they might come looking for us!

Printed on premium matte paper and finished with natural wooden hanging rails, this poster combines retro-inspired artwork with a clean, contemporary way to display it.

Whether you’re a horror movie fan, a lover of South African treats or simply appreciate artwork with a slightly twisted sense of humour, Die Koeksisters makes a wonderfully unusual addition to your walls.

Perfect for kitchens, home offices, bedrooms, entertainment rooms or anywhere that could use a little Mzansi mischief.

And while it’s a perfect addition to your Halloween decorations, these two are far too sweet to put away for the rest of the year!
